Could Xhaka be sold in January?

It’s almost as if Emery wants to get fired, so poor are his decisions of late.

Perhaps the one that will come to haunt him the most is making Xhaka captain. Even if the players voted for the Swiss that doesn’t make him the right man for the job. It’s true, he always tries his best. Unfortunately, though, his best isn’t good enough for Arsenal. One famous pundit called him an inexperienced experienced player because he never learns from his mistakes.

In fact, I’ve lost count of how many goals against Xhaka has cost Arsenal. His tackling isn’t great. His passing is hit and miss and rarely incisive. His running off the ball is unimpressive. His long-range shooting is good, occasionally, while his leadership credentials are more than questionable.

How Xhaka thinks he can get away with an explanation instead of an apology for his petulant behaviour is beyond me. As wrong as it is to be booed by your own fans, he should have got off the pitch quickly. He could have applauded the fans, even sarcastically, and got off so his team-mates could have quickly got on with the game.

All this stuff about keyboard warriors abusing him online is no justification for what he did. He should have simply apologised for his behaviour.

Not shaking Emery’s hand was so disrespectful to the coach, but it seems that the self-centred midfielder can’t see that he’s at fault at all.

I wouldn’t let Xhaka back in my plans, if I were Emery. I’d sell him for around £8m, as that’s his true worth to any takers, if they exist.

What a load of dribble. Two articles, both tripe. Give up mate… you’re embarassing yourself.

I’d be more embarrassed if I was Xhaka. I can only guess that you think he’s a great player and captain, judging by your comment. Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, aren’t they?

You’d guess wrong then. Try and stop seeing the world from your narrow minded viewpoint. It’s not just black and white.

I was commenting on how badly written, ignorant and uninformative the articles here are. I stand by that oponion.

What makes my opinion narrow-minded? I don’t really understand what you mean.

Can you explain how your comments are more well ‘informed’ than mine? You don’t specifically mention anything, which makes me think you didn’t even read what I wrote. Anyway, unlike Xhaka, I can take negative feedback, even if it’s unjustified and unwarranted. Thanks again for your vaguely-insulting comments.

I never claimed to be better informed than you. Give it up. You can’t even write a good, accurate response. What chance of writing a decent article? Stop spewing this nonsense into the world, for everyones sake.

All your writing is generalised abuse. It means you didn’t read what I wrote.

You’ve made similar comments on two other Arsenal websites. Are you against freedom of speech or something?

    • Callum McAlindon November 3, 2019 at 9:06 am - Reply

What?? No. Not at all. But freedom of speech is not an excuse for ignorant numpties to froth at the mouth.
Why not call Gary Neville, Gary Neville? ‘A famous football pundit’ does not make you sound intelligent, or informed.
You write pointless, uninformed, unsubtatiantated opinionated guff. I am against that.
Read YOUR article again. It’s awful.

‘Ignorant numpties’. You used that line on another website, didn’t you?

    • Callum McAlindon November 3, 2019 at 10:42 am - Reply

And? Is that not allowed? Does it carry some sort of meaning I am not aware of? But you are?
Jog on. Just don’t post. Please, don’t post.
Whatever you think, just don’t post.

What gives you the right to tell people not to post? Don’t you think that’s a bit immature?

    • Callum McAlindon November 3, 2019 at 10:48 pm - Reply

If you maintain the right to post, I maintain the right to reply. My reply is that the world would not be diminished if you cease posting. Further, that your posts are meaningless and empty.

As to your second question- please explain why you think me questioning you is immature? Such a pointless and unsubstantiated claim, much like the articles you post.

You don’t offer opinions of your own, other than putting down other people’s writing. I have noticed you always throw your toys out of the pram when Xhaka is mentioned, so you two have a lot in common.

If you need me to explain why it’s immature to tell people to ‘shut up’ just because you don’t agree with them then I suggest you listen to 5-year-olds arguing. That’s the sort of thing they say. ‘Shut up! You’re wrong!’ Do you think that sounds mature? Adults with half a brain ought to be able to argue their own point of view.
