Freddie’s ruthless streak

We all know Freddie Ljungberg is the consummate ‘nice guy’, but what no one knew is that he’d have the guts to withdraw the underperforming spoilt brat Ozil, who kicked the turf as he walked off the pitch.

On the plus side, at least he walked off reasonable quickly, unlike Xhaka, who had he not been concussed would have been part of this shambolic display against Man City.

It seems Ozil is more interested in politics and video games than he is football. Despite his incredible technical ability, he’s failed to realise that you need to marry that with drive and determination: hence, the substandard performances and Freddie’s hook.

Anyway, Freddie may be a novice at the management game, but he’s certainly giving it a go and he has injected enthusiasm, if nothing else, into this lacklustre Arsenal team.
