Why didn’t we fight fire with Flames?

It's good to see Wenger's comments on the official website about Flamini. He echoes what we already know: Flames brings workrate, stability, balance and a vocal element to our team.

In short, Flames is a battler. Quite why he didn't start against Stoke, only Wenger can answer.

It's the sort of game that you'll lose if you choose skill over brawn. You have to fight fire with fire, so why didn't we start with Flames?
