Nacho fills Arsenal’s holey defence

I’ve got to say I’m impressed with Nacho Monreal. After just one game, he’s done enough to show me he’ll be a solid defender at Arsenal. The clean sheet versus Stoke at the Emirates spoke volumes. Mertesacker looked a little less shaky and Szczesny actually looked assured. Only Sagna continued to show lapses in concentration that have seen his credibility with the fans plunge in recent weeks. The million-dollar question is will Nacho be able to help us fill our trophy cabinet. The answer is not this season. More additions are required, but Nacho is a good start(er)!
